Friday Events, TAMUK and Kleberg Parks and Recreation
On behalf of the entire Texas AM University-Kingsville community, I’d like to welcome you to Kingsville and the 2010 Air Show. As president of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, I’m proud to host school children from throughout South Texas for our "Air Show Pep Rally" on campus Friday, March 26.
This event will be broken into two shifts: High School and Middle School students will attend from 8:45 to 10 a.m., and meet the members of the Blue Angels, hear from the pilots about the importance of getting an education, and view special Air Show videos.
Elementary students will arrive at 9:30, and they'll be treated to aircraft flyovers above Javilana Stadium, witness the US Army Golden Knights parachute on to the football field, exciting action-packed videos of Air Show performances, and a lot more! We're even going to let the children use the football field for a picnic lunch, if they bring their lunches with them!
We hope you make plans to join us in Kingsville for the 2010 Air Show!

Kleberg Parks & Recreation
Friday night, Kleberg County Parks & Recreation will host another free event open to the public at the JK NorthwayEvent Center. This event is billed as "Meet the Blues," but those who attend will actually meet nearly every performer who is on the card for the weekend air show. There will also be musical entertainment by the band "Latin Talk," special giveaways, photo and autograph opportunities, and more!
This event is scheduled for 6-9 p.m., with the Blue Angels and other performers and leaders from NAS Kingsville arriving at 7 p.m. Remember, this is a FREE event!
