Paul Fiala
Corpus Christi native Paul Fiala began flying at the age of 15 while attending high school in Corpus Christi. He received his commerical pilots license and began his professional aviation career while still in school. Paul served as a chater pilot and flight instructor early in his career, before turning to corporate flying in 1962. Paul completed training at both Flight Safety International in New York, and American Airlines Flight Academy in Dallas/Fort Worth.
Paul is a member of the Member International Aerobatic Club, and a graduate of the Gene Soucy School of Aerobatics. He has flown with many of the world's top air show performers, including the Navy's Blue Angels and USAF Thunderbirds.
In 1987, Paul received a U.S. Navy citation from the Chief of Naval Air Training for airshow performances and support of Naval Aviation.
