Wings Over South Texas 2010 Air Show

Welcome! On behalf of the officers, men and women of NAS Kingsville and Training Air Wing TWO, I am proud to present this year's premier Texas Air Show - Wings Over South Texas 2010!

Air shows provide military bases, and naval air stations in particular, a tremendous opportunity to open up our gates and allow our biggest supporters - the American taxpayer and citizen - to share in the pride of our military and see first-hand the remarkable equipment used and skills demonstrated by our county's finest everyday. All performances - both military and civilian - are executed with ultimate precision, and are the result of years of training and practice. I know you will be impressed by what you see.

Our goal during this action-packed weekend is to provide something for everyone, and as we say, "this year, we're more than just wings." In addition to the headliner U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Team - the Blue Angels - we also have the Grammy-nominated country artists, Emerson Drive, to perform following the Blue Angel performance on Saturday, March 27.

All performances are free to the public, and parking will be available on base. I ask that you check out our security information located on this website prior to packing your things for the show. Many of the things you will want to bring are allowed, however, in order to provide you and your family a secure place to enjoy a fun-filled day, we have to restrict certain items.

Friday March 26, 2010. Kleberg Parks and Recreation is proud to present  Meet the Blue Angels event at Kleberg Park. This event is FREE to the public!

Sat. March 27, 2010. Gates Open at 10 a.m. at NAS-Kingsville, Directions
Military and Civlian Static Displays, as well as a massive fun packed KidZone, will be open all day! Food and beverages will be avalible for purchase all day long.

Air Show aerobatics and jet teams will be performing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The air show will end following the Blue Angels' performance. Just after the Blue Angels perform, Emerson Drive, a nationally known country act, will take the stage to rock the house! This concert will be FREE to all air show patrons!!

Sunday March, 28. Military and civlian static displays, as well as a massive fun-packed KidZone, will be open all day! Food, and beverages will be avalible for purchase all day long.

Air Show aerobatics and jet teams will be performing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The air show will come to an end following the Blue Angels' performance.
