Media Coverage: The “Wings Over South Texas” Air Show is one of the largest events held in Kleberg County and is an extremely popular event for the media. Representatives from television, news, and radio programs, freelance photographers, and photojournalists from around the world attend the event at this premiere South Texas location. Media opportunities include pre-event activities, one-on-one interviews with performers, and photo and video opportunities.

Please Note: All Media representatives interested in participating in the “Wings Over South Texas” Air Show are required to apply for media credentials. Media Representatives interested in participating in pre-air show opportunities please contact the NAS Kingsville Public Affairs Office at 361-516-6375 or 361-516-6146 to RSVP.

To apply for media credentials or freelance credentials please provide the following:

• Letter of request/justification. Include the amount and type of coverage.
• Dates of attendance.
• Copy of media company identification, law enforcement press credential, or a copy of photo identification with letter of introduction from media sponsor.

Check In: Please check-in at the Press Center/Media Chalet upon your arrival to the Air Show. Media Credentials must be presented for access to the Chalet. Directions to additional photographic locations and special arrangements for performer interviews will be provided. A limited number of press packages will be available.
